We call this "Jack on the Rocks."

Ventured up to Lynchburg, Tennessee yesterday to see how the sweet nectar "Jack Daniels" is formed. Who would have thought that the JD distillery is in a dry county? Oh the irony.

They call this "Jack on the Rocks"...haha..you know rocks...Ice...ok well I thought it was clever.

New Years is fast approaching. I never make resolutions, but I think I might do it this time.

Check this out. It's like those "Choose your path" books. Pretty good idea.

Christmas Break

I'm on Christmas Break now from school. I have so much free time I'm about to go crazy. I've been doing little odd jobs around the house like replacing switches in ceiling fans. I guess my Basic Engineering Circuit Analysis class is coming in handy? /sarcasm

I'm sick of applying for Summer Internships. Boeing, Lockheed Martin, Dynetics, Digium...Surely one of them will take me...please? I'm an Engineering Student with a GPA above 3.0. That has to count for something, right?

I'm also the proud owner of a new Round Tree and Yorke Pea Coat. It's so warm! Highly Recommended! A++++!!!

Tomorrow I will be venturing down to Birmingham to do some last minute shopping at the Galleria and also to visit some friends. I'm excited :)

"We don't beat the reaper by living longer, but by living well"

I have my first final for the semester in 6 hours. I haven't started studying at all yet, but it's cool. I just need a 29 to get an A. Hooray for Calculus 3 being a joke.

I went to a visitation at the funeral home tonight. I hate those so much. When I die ,at a ridiculously old age, I want my wife to be so upset that she has to drop out of college that semester ; )

Tonight, I leave you with two pieces of media.

1.)

Burger King forgot to put a burger...on my hamburger. Epic Fail.

2.) Jolene by Ray LaMontagne (Maybe you've heard of him?). It has more grungy lyrics than what I normally listen to, but I'm really enjoying it at this late hour in the night.

Late Night Blogg'n

So, I now can say those 5 dreaded words....

"When I was a teenager..."

This past monday I celebrated my 20th birthday. I was accompanied by some friends to dinner at Ketchup. It was a good time. When I arrived home I checked to see if my California Crush Kina Grannis (the girl from the radio station at USC) had updated her blog. She wished my happy birthday in a pretty unique way...

(Skip to 5:20 if you would like to see it)

I also started back to work this week for Mitchell Computer Services in Decatur. Well "started back to work" might be an overstatement . I'm basically just going to be taking over the office next week while they are on vacation. When they get back from vaca...I doubt I'll be needed much. Oh well...I guess it's some money.

Other news includes Auburn awarded me the S.M.A.R.T grant. That's $4,000. Yay.

Ok, Class in the morning. G'night people!

Sometime's I lead a rich life...

You might be asking yourself "What is that?". Well , my friend, that is a business card. Nay, it is not a mere business card. It is a ticket.

How did I come to acquire this ? Well a friend of mine (Alan) works over at Fleet Feet in Jones Valley and he was helping a customer. It was fairly obvious that this customer was "Tech Savvy" by the way he continuously spoke of computers, CPUs, etc..
Alan asked him where he worked. He replied in short with "Apple". Somehow my name, undergraduate study, and interest in Macs came up in the conversation. The guy handed Alan the card and told him to get it to me for an internship opportunity.

So I now have a direct line to Nate Cobb, Apple's Government Sales Manager for the Department of Defense.

If I get a job at Apple, free iPod's for everyone.

Topics, Discuss

Alright, let's get to it.

Topic 1: Drug dealing roommate gets robbed.

As you may have heard, one of my roommates has decided it would be an awesome idea to start selling drugs. Well after two months of it, sweet justice has been served. Apparently one of his ghetto "friends" took his safe from his room which had $2500. Nothing of mine was stolen. So all is cool with me.

Topic 2: Shout out on radio from Univesity of Southern California campus

So there is this girl by name of Kina Grannis. Maybe you've heard her, she won the "Crash the Super Bowl" contest hosted by Dorrito's. I really enjoy her music and I heard she was doing a little live session at KSCR at USC. I sent a message to the the station via email, telling them to tell kina "hey from Alabama, love your music". And man...I was really impressed how this played out.

Listen here..

Here is her video that aired during this year's Super Bowl:
